It looks like I am the first one....

This is one of many pages that I will be doing on our family trips around our local area. This location is about 20 minutes from our house on the Natchez Trace, known for Indian and Civil War History...

There is a row of about 15 plots where "Unknown Soldiers were buried following a battle. Down the road are the Pharr Mounds, the Indians would bury their "elders" in giant Mounds with their most precious possessions (kind of like the Egyptians did).. Pretty cool stuff....

Anyway.. I used:

VRA Avalon (March SG Club Kit)

SG Shabby Fabulous

SG French Market

SG STI Layer Journal Blocks

Thank you for viewing... I would also appreciate any advice is appreciated.

:kewlpics: I like your layout!! This looks like an awesome historical place to have nearby...I'd LOVE to live near Williamsburg, VA for all of the HISTORY there. Congrats on being the first to post from today's challenge, too.

 I really like what you've done.  Keeping it simple makes it easy to focus on the picture.  I new to digital scrapbooking and was just browsing through the gallery.
