My Kid Sister

I don't see my sister as often as I like, but she came to see me in January. My folks came

then too, and took a few pictures of us just before we went out in freezing weather for a little

jog :) I played around with some special effects here, using some blending modes on the

artistic edges, and posterized the upper right hand picture. This was fun :D

journalling reads:

Whitney and I are 3 years apart and now live 1000 miles apart.

I miss her! She is my sounding board and I am hers. We

haven't lived under the same roof since a year before I got

married. She's so smart! She makes me laugh. She loves

to play games, and she usually beats me. She has a spark

all her own and a definite joie d vivre! Man, I love her!

Thanks for looking, CC always welcome.

This is fantastic! I love the photos, the journaling and the color! Especially like the almost cartoonish look at the top right corner!

Great lo - it looks like you had a lot of fun - both with your sister, and playing with those special effects on the lo. Love your journaling - it's wonderful to have a sister as a close friend, and hard to have them far away.

What a wonderful LO! Love all the colors and the big smiles. I especially like the colors in the strip across the middel- it really pulls things together!

I love this lo. I don't know how you did the right hand photo, but I think I will have to look into it. Isn't it great to have a sis you can be best friends with.

It looks like you have a lot of love for each other. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
