I have made this before and it IS delicious! It also freezes well! Make a double batch, let them soak overnight, bake one and freeze the other!!

Sounds good Laurie. One question...Can we subsitute Whole Wheat bread for white? Because in our family we no longer eat white bread...something about needing more fiber in the diet :)

I don't see why you couldn't use whoe wheat. We don't eat white bread anymore either so I'm gong to try it with wheat next time.

Sara Lee has some yummy whole grain breads on the market

This does sound yummy. It would probably be good with strawberries, also. When I get home from vacation I'll have to unzip the file and start printing some recipes, including this one.
