Happy Easter

This is a photo of me, my sister and our Grandfather in the backyard of the house we were living in. This was about 1954 to 1955, so I was about 8 or 9 and my sister, Donna, was about 11 or 12. This was taken on Easter Sunday and we had just gotten new bunnies for Easter. I used this for my Easter Card this year and sent to my family, via email of course.

Products used:

Fonts: Warm Spring by Lettering Delight

Egg Basket, Grass and Eggs: Elka Romero from her Colorful Easter Element Pack

Purple Brads: Also by Elka Romero

Background Paper: By Vickey Morrisey

Absolutely adorable. I love the idea of using a childhood photo for a card. Great colors and the grass border on the bottom with the eggs is perfect. Really fabulous job! TFS!

:thankyou: all for your wonderful comments. I'm having such a great time scanning my old photos and then doing layouts with them. These are going out to my sister and cousins as Easter cards, as I didn't have time to buy store bought ones. But I think they'll appreciate these better than store bought. At least I hope so.

Thanks again.
