Blessed

This used both club kits mostly.

Loved them!

I know this isn't the typical Easter page...not soft and pastel-y. This is probably more my style though. At least, for the moment. lol :)

Very pretty layout Charlene! I love the swirls behind your title, and love how you used the frame. Wonderful embellishment arrangement. Beautifully done!

I love this Charlene! So you used the March and April kits? I notice that this is indeed your style and you all have brown eyes! Love the photo of you and the boys :)

Thanks Vaughnde... I meant that I used the ScrapSimple and the SG club kits. The ScrapSimple club had the paper template, the frame template and some distressed brushes that I used on part of the frame (on the underside paper turned over.)

The SG club was the swirl, letters, and the upper left cluster of embellies.

Yep...all brown eyes. :) My hair is darker than theirs. And Hunter, on the left, has taken some of my long eyelashes away to use for himself. lol

This is lovely, what flowers did you use and background paper? TFS

Thanks.

The 3 flowers are from SNU_CollageArt. I put some jeweled thingies on them from SNU_AYO_JeweledFlora.

The background paper came from a template in the ScrapSimple monthtly club kit...TCS_SSPaper_BeautifulDistress.

I made a layer in PSE and filled it with a solid color, then made the template one color and layed it over the other layer. Then messed with blending modes. I played around with 3 different colors until I decided on the combination I liked.

What do you mean the colors are not "eastery"? I wore CHOCOLATE brown

dots to church on Easter Sunday! DH also wore a chocolate shirt. When folks

were oohing over the pastels, we told them we were EASTER CHOCOLATES! LOL

The LO is lovely... nice spring feeling! Great and growing techniques obvious!

Charleen, that is a beautiful LO. I think it's a great Easter LO since it portrays your style instead of trying to make it look like somene else. That is the beauty of scrapbooking.

I like this Char, and who said Easter pages have to be all pastel-y! Your message is loud and clear! And that's Easter to me :D :D Great job!

Charlene, I love your layout and your comment about it not being pastel-y. The Cross was not in Eggshell blue, so I think you did great! You and the boys are very cute.

Boy, I'm a ditz. lol :blondmoment:

I read your comment about the Cross and I thought, "Where does she see a cross on my layout? Does something look like a cross?" I actually glanced at the layout for a second wondering about a cross that is not eggshell blue....then it smacked me on the head what you meant. :hit-head-with-hammer:

And you're right.
