Last October, I had the opportunity to visit a girlfriend AWAY FROM HOME for a few days. It was an amazing experience for me, and she is the one who introduced me to scrapbooking. She sent me home with a "care package" which I laid out on my dining room table when I got home. I pulled out a box of photos, and a box of keepsakes and I got to work. I had a vision of doing a book about my girls. Unfortunatley at the time, I didn't realize that most scrapbooks are done to "pass down" to your children. I just thought I was making it for myself. So my first book was about the 1st year in the life of my TWINS...not just one twin, but BOTH. Now, of course, I do pages of each of them separately. That being said, here is the first page I ever did. This one includes the actual birth announcement I sent out in the mail, PLUS an ACTUAL photograph (which I later found out is a paper scrapbooking no-no!)
