The lunar eclipse this february was fantastic at our house! It was the first one the kids had seen, and actually the first I had ever seen because they usually occur in the middle of the night (I value my sleep!), and it's usually cloudy when they happen. The photos aren't super quality, but it was my first time shooting nighttime photos like this. (I got a tripod for Christmas, or it wouldn't have been possible at all!)

Excellent pictures. I tried to take pictures of the one this summer and didn't have a tripod and they didin't turn out. I finally got a tripod, but it was just too cold that night to even go out and I didn't have a good view from a window.

 

I really like this page alot:)
