Twins 1910

I was so excited to see this month's scrapsimple club offerings! They go so great with the heritage work I've been doing. I was so anxious to use them, and here's my first shot. I used:

Frame embellishment template SBA_SSEmbTmp_Archvd_ShllOval_1b-Frame

Paper Template EHI_ScrapSimple_12x12_FamRoom_Floral

Paper template for texture SBA_SSPaper_FmlyBrnch_12x12_WdGrn

I used KSC_Journey_12x12_Roses paper to pick the colors for the background paper

the word panel is EHI_AYO_Bookworm_Panels_panel2-green

I wanted to use the word panels in the April club, but I wanted to get this done before I go to bed! When I saw the frames in the set, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. This photo is framed in an oval frame and hangs in my my mom's guest bedroom. I love the photo, because my great grandfather, one of the twins, looks exactly like my son in this photo. (to me, anyway!) I took it off the wall and took pictures of it. Not as good as a scan, but with some manipulation (I had to clone out the flash glare) it looks pretty good. And the background paper looks a lot like the wallpaper in that bedroom too!

I love the way you've chosen to display the picture here, just like it's displayed in real life. Love the vintage look. Great layout. TFS!

This is gorgeous! I love the red you picked for the paper. Really sets off the photo and frame. Beautiful layout. It's a joy to see the club products looking so great.
