Opening ceremonies

The first Little League games of the season were preceded by much ceremony - long lists of names, and some speeches. The kids were really good at standing around and waiting; the parents grumbled a bit.

 

I started this LO inspired by Theresa Kavouras' Baseball collection and her layout Waiting to Play, but found my pictures didn't quite fit her design. I did use some of the collection on this page and the two that follow it.

I love how you placed the large picture for the background! I remember those opening days at Little League - my baby boy is now 26 but I remember the excitement of opening day when no ones pants had grass stains yet! Great layout.

Great job on the LO and a good inspiration for me! We have our first games this week. Baseball 4 nights a wekk for 6 weeks= worn out parents. TFS!

I really like this. I always struggle with knowing how to fit a lot of pictures on one page, but I really like the way you did it here. It looks terrific.
