Mary,
I know that's supposed to be a shadow on the 1, but to me, it looks like part of the 1. And I kinda like it that way. Gives your page some depth, I think.

The shadow on the 1 makes it look like it stands out more than the picture. Because you can't see the bottom of the 1, in this case it looks more like a stylized number than a true shadow. I think it looks cool for this particular case. It would probably be too much for me if the bottom shadow were seen also. But this is a fun LO and some dramatic things add to the fun. I like it this way this time.
