I Dream in Color

In order to get even more value for your dollar when purchasing ScrapSimple Tools – Styles, try combining them. The technique that I use the most is to first duplicate the layer I will be applying the style to ... in this case, the “I” and “Color” portions of my title. To the top copy, I applied Durin Eberhart’s Unique 5104, then I simplified it (aka “Rasterize”). Next, I applied Cheryl Barber’s Inked Edges 4105 Fun to the bottom copy. Then, I selected the top copy again, and chose “Multiply” under my Blending Modes. I really like the look of rough-hewn stone with color around the edge. This also supported the theme of my layout with the extra color pop!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this on so many levels. The combination of the creams with the aquas & blues is WONDERFUL! Your title is powerful (& I too dream in techni-color!) I like this combination of photos and the way you have them in 'stamps' as if letters from the dream world. The quote is one I am tacking up on my quote wall right now.

p.s. Thanks for the extra how to tips!

All I can say is WOW! This is absolutely incredible. I love, love, love it. I put it into my favorites and saved a copy to my hard drive so that when my printer has ink, I will print out a copy for myself. The colors are wonderful and I just love the photos that you used. Thanks also for the mini tut, I certainly can use that. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful layout. (I too dream in color.)

LOVE this layout! So unique and beautiful, and a bit surreal just like our dreams. Cool technique you shared, I'll have to remember combining the styles! I know I dream in color, too.
