Mother's Day Gift for Gma

I've been seeing everyone's crafts that they've been doing for their moms... I figured that it was a fantastic idea. So I made this. I MAY end up changing the picture if I can get a decent one of both boys in the next 2 days.

Planning on printing and sticking in an 8x10 frame for both G-mas.

CC is VERY WELCOME!!!!

(details in the tab) I scraplifted this, but all I have is the file name. I saved the idea before I really knew how to credit my inspiration. So I uploaded the picture to photobucket - if it happens to be yours, let me know and I'll credit you: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v675/rit...e_no-flower.jpg It was titled "Dylan - imagine no-flower"

From the album:

Looks great! I love the colors and papers you used, and the layout of your, well, layout. The only thing I would change is the text color; it's too light to be read clearly and would probably show up less when you print it out. :)

Ugh! I should have put that - I have it embossed in my .psd, but for some reason, when I flattened it, it made it look really weird. So I took it off for the .jpg version.

Thanks!!!!

This is really cute! :) The only thing I would suggest is that I can't tell if you've used drop shadows on your elements or not. If you haven't, I'd say to add some. If you already have, then you may want to bump up the size a little, just to add some realism to the page.

I love the color palette, and the flower and papers go really well together. Nicely done! :)

Very sweet sentiment - I'm sure Grandma is going to love it. I love the colors and the design.

I know you said you may try to get a different picture but if you don't you might want to crop this a bit and maybe even see what it looks like in black/white or sepia. With the browns in your color palette a sepia might work well.
