Journaling:

Sometimes, life seems like a fairy tale. For example, who would have guessed that I would find my dream job? I didn’t even know I wanted a dream job. I certainly wasn’t looking for one.

Two years ago, my life changed. Eleanor moved to Texas, Charlotte started teaching full time. Jared was born, and taking voice lessons from Connie suddenly became too complicated. Within a few months, all of my outlets were gone. My two best friends weren’t home every day, and my creative release just wasn’t an option. I thought I was fine with all of the changes until one day when I had a complete melt down. I couldn’t go on that way.

One day, I came across www.scrapgirls.com and the rest is history. I opened up PSE, a program I had barely even opened before, and started to play. I got involved on the Message Board. I loved every minute. But, still I was missing something. When I saw the ad for teachers in the News Letter, I jumped at the chance. I had been using PSE for not quite a year, but some how I made it through the interview and audition process. And now, I get to do something I love-teach others to scrapbook, while still being able to be home with my kids. It wasn’t what I was looking for at that time in my life, but it was just what I needed. As long as my computer works and I have high speed Internet, I’m living Happily Ever After!
