My son as pop art!

I loved the tutorial in the May 23rd newsletter by Ariadna Wiczling - I had trouble trying to do it in PSE5 ( there was no color range function under the select menu) but once I realized that I had a 30 day trial of PSCS3 I was able to do one for each of my 2 boys. I think it came out pretty good!

That is very eye catching. I really love how it turned out. I'm so glad you were able to make it work. It was well worth the effort. What an eye popper!!

That's totally cool. I've always wanted to try something like that, I actually wanted to use it on a photo of a flamingo. I haven't figured out to do this, but will look at the tutorial...even though i have pse5. Thanks for the inspiration...I think this should be framed and hung in your son's room.

I would frame it and hang it where everyone can see! WOW! Once I get the hang of PSE - I think I'll have to move up! Great job!

I've always wanted to do one of these. Is the tutorial still around? Will it work with pse6?

The only issue I had was that in PSE you do not have the option of Select-Color Range However, after watching Scrapbook Secrets for the 1st time tonight you might be able to do it with the magic wand tool, click on the white areas then hit delete. I'm going to try that method and see if it works (My trial of CS3 expires in 29 days!!) I'm sure that there are ways to do functions from CS in PSE - I just haven't figured them out yet.

This is awesome! I love it!

And you're right - use the Magic Wand tool instead of the color range - works almost the same. For the purpose of this tutorial you can say that it's the same :) Again, great job!

I am fairly new to igital scrapbooking an PSE6. I REALLY want to o a similar popart project for a gift for my best friend. Has anyone come up with substitute irections to do the same thing in PSE6? I trie but it just wasn't working out for me. Maybe I am just too new to comletely follow what your were doing. Anyone willing to walk a newbie like me through it?? I woul greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Kim
