Kentucky Beauty

I can’t make it to the chat this evening, but I wanted to get my swap crop pages up in time. I had a lot of fun playing with Julie’s b/w horse pics and her journaling. I made a brush from the song “My Old Kentucky Home” and added it to the background. I wanted to use all her pictures, so I made a 2-pager with an Amanda Sok double template and mostly used the Thao Cosgrove’s Earthen Vessel kit. I really liked how the background paper could be read more than one way (both ways are what I try to do!) –

Thanks a bunch for this opportunity and thank you Julie for being my partner! I’ve really enjoyed it. Complete credit list in the details. And let me say one last time – thank you so much for this fun activity!

Oh, this LO is fabulous! I love the colors -- the browns/blues/greens -- and how all of your papers and textures and colors really work together. You combined elements so well, and I love the cool brush you made with the song! That is definitely a great touch ont his LO. I also love the quote about Horses on the right page - SO perfect for the page! That's a great template for this LO, and I love how you made it your own. Just fabulous - gorgeous! I did a 'horsey' layout for this swap crop, too, and I'm loving what you did here.

What a fabulous second page to your layout. It's just as wonderful as the first page. Beauty and Grace is a perfect title for these photos.
