My Childhood Best Friend Sarah.

This is my old childhood friend Sarah. We lost her in November to a car accident. Scrapbooking really is a Therapeutic tool when grieving or feeling sad about something. It also has given a lot of comfort to Sarah's family and friends which I didn't expect. It's not just a fun hobbie girls, it's a creative outlet that seems to help all the people around you!

What a beautiful tribute to your Dear Friend. I think you are so right about another reason to scrap and I'm glad this is helping her family!

God Bless you !

I'm so sorry for your loss. I am finding a new freedom with digital scrapbooking. I've always scrapbooked to create memories for others.

Now I seem to even scrapbook some memories of myself because it doesn't cost me anything and I don't even have to print these layouts (if I don't want to).

I like your coffee layout too. It reminds me of a very important part of my day that, even though I look like crap, I might want a pic of since my family will most likely remember me that way when I'm gone. Your layout makes me think. Thank you...sincerely.

It's so important to scrapbook yourself!!! I didn't realize this until I got into a horrific car accident Feb. of 2007. I had hit black ice and was rotated around into the oncoming lane and my back end hit the front end of an oncoming Toyota. My kids were in the backseat and I watched in horror as my husband's head went through the side window. I thought I lost my whole world that night. The Police had said if we hadn't hit where we did, it would've been fatal for us. Then to lose Sarah later that year was just horrible. I realized that my kids are so small and they would forget me in time if anything happened to me now. I started a book about ME. It tells everyone how I live my life, my inner most secrets and all the love I have for everyone. Don't ever forget about yourself when you scrap!!!!! Hugsssssssssssssss
