I used the instructions in today's newsletter to make the flower clip - Filling Blank Spaces with Layer Styles. :thanks: for them.

The flower looks great! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. :)

 

The rest of the shadows do look a bit heavy ... I know there isn't much you can do about that in PSE3, but maybe you can make them a bit smaller?

 

Everything else looks great! What a fun photo!

I've just looked at the layout again and I seem to have some shadows where I didn't expect them. Not sure what I've done. I'll need to pay more attention in future.

 

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll go and look at Ro's Secrets and see if she tells me how to make them smaller. (Well maybe, tomorrow. It's a bit late here now.)

Well, I think it's a very nice layout! Your flower clip is wonderful, and I really like the string wrap. Just soften the drop shadows a bit and you'll have it!

You have done a great job here with the tutorial. I love the quote that goes with it i might have to use that in one of my layouts.

Love the colors and the flower looks great! SHadows are tough- especially when you don't have much control. You've done a nice job, though!
