today i was at the photographers studio helping out... we had a very busy day photographing products for a website ( kind of boring actually) and then working on a slide show and taking some photos of a 14 month old.... and all the while taking care of the photographers 3 month old baby.... so after they picked up the 2 1/2 year old from daycare and the photogrpaher and her husband started horseing around with their kids i asked if i could do my "homework" and take a group shot...they were having some lovely family moments.... and the 2 1/2 year old and the dog are very active ( as they should be) so i just was able to grab a few shots but i really liked this one cause it is such a family moment.... crying baby, laughing mom. i used my flash and bounced it...and adjusted the photo in lightroom using the creative aged photo on this photo.

ps i lightened the photo a little with curves after seeing the posting i think it is dark..but i am too lazy to re post...lol

This is a really amazing photo!! I love all the different emotions--the mischievous little boy-the laughing mom, the crying baby and the comforting dad. wonderful job.

WOW! I really love this. It is so kinetic. It is perfect. The people in the photo are looking at each other and the stitching in the circle around the people - it works so perfectly. You look from face to face and see such interesting expressions and then back your eye away to look at the group. The text and other embellishments are so complimentary - easy to read and they don't compete at all with the great photo.

What an amazing family photo - it is so dynamic and balanced. I love the tones of the picture and the combination with the recolored background.
