The Hay People
My cousin gave me a CD filled with unlabeled pictures. She lives in another state and so I would have to call or send email to ask her what they said on the backs. When I got to this one I didn't know who the people were so I described it as The Hay People. She knew instantly what picture I was referring to so it seemed as good a name as any. I found out the two in the front are my grandfather and his twin sister. I'm guessing this was in the thirties judging by the ages of them. The young woman on top of the haystack was not identified and its too hard to see her face to tell who it is.
This is my first attempt at a Heritage Page and hopefully I will have many more to follow because there were lots and lots of pictures.
This was done using a Marnie Adams sketch from the June 7 challenge, but I did not do this for the challenge. I just love the sketch.
