A Truly Miraculous Day!

These photos were taken at a Bar-B-Q my sister and her hubby hosted the day before she had a nasty, aggressive brain tumor removed. It has been almost a year and it is so great that this next weekend we will be there, doing it all again!

The journaling reads: "This was the day before Kay's brain tumor was successfully removed. Ron Bar-B-Qued great food and it was a wonderful day."

I used PSE4,MRE Extinct, KSC Patternologie, TCS Sisterly and All About Marriage, and PWR Word Arts, BHA AbsExpr Floral, MST Cooking Chef Hat and Apron, and SG RElax Sun and Grill.

I am not sure I was supposed to have used these colors... But it was a great challenge anyway! I recolored several things with splotches from the pallette and also recolored some things black.

you did a great job on the extractions (I wish I could extract pictures that good!) I love the feelings that this layout gives, even looking at surgery the next day you still were able to have a good time and to enjoy having each other there. I am glad to hear that your sister is doing well after the surgery.

What a terrific layout and a memory of success over the brain tumor. This must be a very emotional layout and you did a great job of making it whimsical and serious at the same time. Love love love the colors.

What a fabulous and awesome layout. I love the colors you chose and your photo extractions are wonderful. That is something I need to learn. Love all the elements, especially the sunflowers. And I'm so glad that you will be celebrating again this year after a very successful operation on your sister. Love to you all.
