So, my husband has a thing for cars...what boy (old or young) doens't... and he's seen this one around town and has been dying to get a picture... so today when my computer bag gave out and I needed a new one (in black, plain and boring) we ended up at wal-mart when Office Depot, Office Max and Target didn't have one (or one I was willing to pay for).... I don't normally shop at wal-mart, so I was already annoyed when my husband suddenly said 'be right back' and disappeared across the parking lot... Needless to say, I wasn't too thrilled when he found me wandering the vast store (lost) and said look - proudly holding out his phone for me to see the pictures.... I mumbled something, and he went on about the car and candy paint...

Despite my annoyance (at him, the people, the fact that my computer bag split) something in my mind clicked... "Candy Paint"... wait wasn't candy the June Challenge??? We got home and I logged in to check, sure enough Candy was the challenge. Then watched with amusement my husband's face when I said "Bluetooth me your pictures"... As if that look wasn't good enough, the one when I reappeared and asked him about "isn't there a hip-hop song you listen to about Candy Paint"? Sure enough, there is - it's called "Sittin' Sideways" by Paul Wall (a hip-hop artist out of Houston, Texas). So, there you have it... the weird wonderful logic behind this layout.

Other than the photo frames which are made out of Destinations Kraft paper and the very center section which is French Country Yellow, the rest is colored in with paint. So tomorrow I may log on and wonder why I found this so amusing, maybe it was the result of the fever I've run all day... or perhaps I was dying to use the Instimatic 2 templates I bought... but I thought I'd share my amusement with you all...
