Poison Spider Mesa outside of Moab, Utah is one of the most popular jeeping trails because of the scenery and its 3.5-4 rating makes it just challenging enough to be fun without being a jeep-buster. Just after leaving the road you can see actual dinosaur tracks. The vista across the fins of Behind the Rocks toward the La Sal Mountains is as fine as they come. The rim view overlooks Moab 1000 feet below and includes a panorama of 300 degrees. The real highlight is the view through the “Little Arch” where you can see the Colorado River far below.
