Second Cousins

These two were so funny I just had to do a LO about them. Two boys who are both known to be active and silly, and they just walked around and around and around my sister's property! Jacob is my cousin's son, and he and my son Matthew had never met before that evening. They had such a good time they begged to have a sleep-over before Jacob left town!

Supplies:

papers - ABR Commotion

ribbon - BMU Ribbons To Go embellishment templates

star & circle embellies - ABR Commotion

ice cream cone - SG Refresh2 SJO Cone

fonts - Dreamspeak; GF Ordner Inverted

Journalling:

Matthew was a bit nervous about all the cousins coming to the BBQ. He

had never met his second cousins before. Grandma assured him that he

and Jacob would get along great. After a brief introduction, the two boys

began walking around and around the 3.5 acre property and they never

stopped - except to eat! I wonder what they were talking about. Walking and talking,

walking and talking, and eventually they headed to the trampoline and later in to play a Wii game. The two were fast friends and wanted to spend more time together after the BBQ!

Love this layout! That orange gives a nice punch to your predominately green photos. Love the dotted paper behind them and that ribbon looks great. Wonderful job on this!

Aren't boys funny? My cousin's son is the same age as my son. They only see each other a couple of times a year but are glued to each other every time. They really look forward to getting together. I'm so glad your two hit it off so well. Good for you to capture the moment!
