No age limit to feeling proud

I was already thinking about this double page LO before I looked at this contact. Scarily, I'm the first one to post !! The journaling reads:
What hardly anyone knows about me is that I was awarded a trophy for being the best improver at the Gynastics Club that I went to when I was much younger. When I received it I was really proud and a bit embarrassed, I was 13 and I thought I was too old to get it. Secretly I was still proud. I put the trophy on the windowsill in our front room for everyone to see. It's the only award I won as a child and now I feel really proud and not at all embarrassed. In fact if I still had it, I'd put on the windowsill for everyone to see. I'm not quite as flexible or fit these days, I can't do a backflip or even a handstand but I can do a forward roll and a cartwheel and I can swim forever. I don't have any photos of my trophy or me in leotard (then not now...)so I've made myself a trophy and am proudly displaying it, at 38 years old. What I know now is that there is no age limit on awards, improving or giving and receiving encouragement. As I go to sleep each night, I say a prayer and look back at what made me
happy that day, what I did well and I say Well Done to myself.
