When we lived in Hawaii in the 1950's I had the pleasure of taking hula lessons from a wonderful teacher, who was of pure Hawaiian ancestry. She was a wonderful dancer and a pleasure to watch. Unfortunately I cannot find a photo of her, but I found these two of me that were copied from old 35MM slides. They are quite dark, and I tried to lighten them, but everything I tried made them ugly, so I left them dark. Hopefully, everything I used is in the details. Oh, yes, the background I made from a photo of Hanauma Bay that I took on a recent trip back to relive memories. When we lived there Hanauma Bay was one of our favorite places to go.
