A Few of my favorite things

My daughter turns 5 on her first day of preschool. Her teacher asked each child to bring a poster about them to show on their birthday. She's my oldest child so this is the first time I've had to make one of these posters. I don't think this is what the teacher had in mind, but I just couldn't bring myself to stick pictures on poster board (not to mention actually write with a marker!! gulp! ;)).

Very cute! Even if it wasnt what the teacher had in mind, it is perfect to capture her favorites at that age for the scrapbook! Love the color combos

This is just perfect!!! Even if it isn't what the other kids bring (who knows), it is very special because (1) it gives the teacher (and class) an idea of who she is, and (2) her mommy did an awesome job and everyone is going to ask you how you did it. WTG!

How cute is this! I think mommy deserves an "A" on this homework. And, Megan, deserves an "A+" for answering all those questions so well! Her favorite food is salmon with bow tie pasta!! Too funny!

This is absolutely Fantabulous! It may not be what the teacher had in mind but I totally agree you get an A++ for doing it! And it is a good start to her first school album. Megan loves the same Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that my grandchildren do.

Oh, you'll be the star-mom of the class. The teacher will probably try to rope you into all sorts of creative endeavors for the class now! ;) Great job!

I am sure the teacher will be impressed, she may even have some art projects for you in the future. LOL!!! She looks just adorable and the colors are so vibrant and pretty.

Wow, I can relate! I cannot count the number of times my kids took in great photos (without telling me!) Then I would be shocked to see them cut and glued onto a poster on "Back to School night"! Yikes!

Won't it be great when teachers ask the kids to bring in a digital layout???? LOL!

This one is beautifully done and fun, too. (She is beautiful and has a wonderful smile!)

I want to try to copy it and make one about my oldest granddaughter.
