Definitely more important things, Joann! You made the right choice, and I love that you scrapped it and shared it with us. The bathrooms will wait!

Chalk is sooo much fun! I've never seen that kind before, with the different coloured spots. I'm sure you had a better time than if you had done housework! Great LO!

Great choice. It's easy to forget about that sometimes isn't it?

Great layout too.

How WONDERFUL! Takes me back to my childhood. No mom did not play with us kids outside much but there were days we played games and such while the house was neglected and if dad protested...she told him it was more important for 'mommy' time to have fun with us than do housework! But those times were almost too rare back then....so when I see someone having fun with their children I say go for it. I love your layout!

What a wonderful layout to capture a priceless memory. Nathan will certainly appreciate the choice you made even more when he's old enough to understand it was a choice.

And where do you get polka-dot chalk?!

For information sake, I got the polka-dot chalk at WalMart at the beginning of Summer -- isn't it cool? It's fun to use the outer edges, that are actually what is polka-dotted (I WISH it was polka-dotted all the way through. It's not, but it still makes a cool effect for a while. :) Nathan didn't appreciate the coolness, though. Uninformed child. :) :) :)
