I dream of our time to come

This layout is of a recent feeling when away on business at Lake Como italy. It was such a beautiful place it seemed wrong to be there alone. It was also a great excuse to use the cool fan action from panosfx that I acquired quite a while ago.

 

The journalling reads:

Don’t ever get me wrong I love, cherish and adore my children beyond compare. They have made my life a joy and I would never wish that away. However there is a “but” and it is a big “but” and that is there has never been a just you and me time - an only us time.

 

From the day we met there was already the demands of 2 children and since we’ve had the twins along with the doubled joy is the doubled repsonsibility.Whilst we revel in the joy of our little family

I do dream of our time to come.

 

One day each of our beautiful children will spread their wings and fly. Off to discover the world with unlimited freedom. It is this new chapter in our life that I love to dream of. At that time we will also spread our wings and fly, off to all the places I have been alone on business whilst you did the hard work holding the fort back home, caring for our children.

 

To every place where I have stood taking in the beauty aching for you to be there beside me to share it with me. To new places I have never been so I can experience the newness and the gorgeousness with you, captured in that moment.

 

I dream of us holding hands watching the sunset over mountains, sea and land, of long walks and lie-ins, of fun and laughter. Most of all I dream of the time to devote indulging in the most amazing thing, which is us.

 

Throughout the day to day struggle of daily life, there is little time to appreciate the love we share. Don’t worry though, our time will definately come and the dream I have for us will be realized. I Love you so very much xoxoxo

This is a beautifully constructed LO!!! I love your colours, the fan, the perfect touch of embellishments and of course that amazing journalling!!!
