Inspired by today's newsletter tutorial on creating textured paper, and getting a paper template freebie, I created this. Not only that, I used the font technique I learned in Wednesday night's chat, using the eraser tool with the SG_Refresh_LCO_Grunge Brush on black letters layered over grey letters (then added a stroke around the black letters). The photo frame is JHI_SSEmbellBiggie_OldPhotoFrames_Special which I think was a freebie from over a year ago. Not much of a layout, but I was mainly practicing these two techniques. I want to start actually trying out techniques as they arrive in newsletters or I come across them, rather than just filing them away for someday. I'm not doing enough scrapbooking!

Great job on your LO!

You did a good job on the lettering using the font technique.

Adorable pics! That is a good idea of practicing the techniques

as you receive the newsletter. I am guilty of filing until later-then

never get back to them:(
