Day 12: At home in the kitchen

Here's another LO, also in no apparent order...but DONE!!! I'm cleaning up some LOs that were almost done. :) This is for Day 12: Grateful for Home. As you may know, we moved to Tennessee in July and into this house Aug 1. I was quick to get the girls' room situated, and next was the kitchen. We bought the table and hutch the night we moved in (a great story in itself). We finally decided what storage we needed and ordered the jelly cabinet and the chimney cabinet. We waited for over a month for them. When we finally got them, the kitchen felt like home. I was able to unpack all my bakeware and get rid of the box in the corner that was holding our canned goods for the time being. Now the kitchen is not only for meals (which we eat together most of the time), but it is homework central and the backing hub, and lots of other things! It truly is the heart of our home. (Sorry if you saw this photo on an earlier LO in the gallery).

TFL! CC always welcome!

Supplies in Detail.

It looks like a very cozy kitchen. You've got me curious about the story of your table and hutch purchase. I like the composition of your layout and the quote, which is perfect.

I think this is a very nice LO Debbie and I love the story that goes with it. The colors and embellishments are very nice and great added touches to this wonderful layout.

Really a comfy kitchen and layout! Love your hutch, and it looks so organized! Glad you are getting settled. And I agree, once the kitchen is done, everything is done!

yes, I feel right at home in your kitchen. Can't you just imagine, you've got the girls off to school and I popped over from next door and we are sitting down for a cuppa and to catch up and plan when we are going to get together for the next marathon crop? Yeppers, I feel right at home here.
