Neat idea! The ribbon at the bottom adds a neat detail. Also, I like the quote, too.

 

Michelle, I LOVE this idea! I have a Bind it all and I just haven't thought about making a book with blank pages...what freedom!

 

I think this is a lovely page, but if Cody is a boy, I'm thinking that the touches of ribbon and the cursive font for his name might be a bit too feminine. What if you made the whole cover using the skulls but still incorporate his name somehow in a grungier font?

 

If Cody is a girl, please disregard my comments. Fabulous idea. My brain is already churning with possibilities for this myself! ;-)

I agree with melanie...a different font for this one would be better and maybe instead of the ribbon a strip of something like a belt or frayed fabric?
