My Weeds

This is a vine that began last year on a small privacy fence panel we had. I thought, OK i will let it go for a bit , it seemed to give the fence some character :). Well, This year after many trimmings,It showed some green berries and I was a bit concerned the dogs might eat them, but kept a watch and figured the birds and squirrels could have their fill, then GONE it would be.. BUT , the colors are so beautiful, I will let it LIVE on to enjoy the fall colors it produces :)

This isn't a weed, Tina - I'm pretty sure it's bittersweet, valued for fall decorations, such as wreaths. You've showcased it beautifully. I love your staggered slices, and the colors and scrolled patterns in the background papers. Wonderful layout!

I love the colors there too!! I would've left it just to look at! ;) Great pics. I love the split photo effect you used. Perfect for this LO!

Lovely layout. It really caught my eye in the gallery. I love the split photos too. My first thought was that it is bittersweet also.

Thanks Jo and Pat, It's funny, I thought it resembled something used in fall crafts as well, but I never knew the name of those red berries. Now I know it will stay forever :) and thank you for your lovely comments too :)

This is a lovely layout and bittersweet is a beautiful fall decoration. You did an outstanding job not only on the photos but of showing it off. However, be forewarned, if you keep it.. they spread like wildfire and in no time you might have way more than you want. They are quite prolific.
