This is a really cool ATC Ang! I love learning about the history they don't teach us in schools here. I will definitely be checking out your link to this. My dh ancestors come from Scotland, not sure exactly where (I haven't done that side of the family history yet and his parents, grandparents, etc are all gone) but its a common name, Campbell, so I know there is a lot of history to go with it. Thanks for sharing this bit of Scottish history.

Awesome Angela! Thanks for bringing back memories of Guy Fawkes night! I remember it was a night of fun in the UK when I lived there in 85/86. They had a bonfire down on the 'downs' in Chipping Norton.

Love the ATC! I must admit, I never "got" why Guy Fawkes is celebrated, lol, so I will have to follow your link for the real history.

Having said that, it always sounds like such a great holiday celebration - guys and bonfires and a lot of fun for all. Thank you for sharing it!

Penny for the guy, gov? lol

Nice work Angela!

Not very often we see the full, original verse of "remember remember" these days. Don't think I've heard that since History lessons in school

I like this, its really commemorative!
