Just playing with some brushes and blendings and layerings

This caught my eye the other day as I looked out my Garden Window from my kitchen..Aliens!! I immediately thought or Bats even(have seen them),but a closer view gave me these nests which were hidden under the now gone Forsythias. Sure explains why we didn't have many flies or mosquito's in our backyard this past summer

Oh, the thought makes me cringe! Stinging insects give me the heebie-jeebies and to think they were there all summer! I will say that they're such a beautiful creation of nature, though...those nests, I mean. Great idea to scrap them!

I thought they must be bird's nests if they helped keep away flies and mosquitoes. I really love how you scrapped them but now my curiosity is up.. are they birds or bees? They really do look like the movies make the aliens look.. Are you SURE they aren't really aliens?

Sorry, had to joke a little. I really love the gray paper and the way they almost blend into the paper and into hiding again. Very effective techniques to show these off.
