Xmas Tree 4 the Forest
I had just created this LO for last Saturday's color challenge before I saw what the monthly challenge was going to be. So I fooled around with it a little bit more and decided to upload it to the Dec. Chal. Hope the photo looks better in this one.

This picture reminds me of my mother. She ALWAYS decorated a tree outside. Even late in life when she stopped having an inside tree, she would decorate one outside. I really miss that wonderful woman! Its been nine years now, but the sorrow remains . . .

Absolutely adorable. I love that little tree all decorated for Christmas. I like that you have carried on the tradition that you mother started. My Mom is gone almost 11 years and my dad 50 and it still hurts, so I know what you mean. I like that background paper that you used and the frame around the tree makes it look like you are actually looking oustisde a window into the backyard. Fabulous.

What a sweet little tree. I really like your journaling too. Love the cardboard, the twig frame and the bits of moss and that little ornament hanging from your frame. Great job on this!

I knew I'd seen this before.. it was the color challenge. Yes this picture is a little clearer. I loved it over there and I still love it. The cardboard background if perfect for this sweet little tree. I'm sure the forest feels happy having the tree decorated. Your treatment of this is just really great.
