New tree, new lights, new camera!

This was a perfect challenge to get out of the "Auto" mode and turn off the flash!

Love this LO! Especially how you cut the word Holiday out of the picture. I think I remember seeing a tutorial on this, but would love to be pointed in that direction if you don't mind...can't seem to find it! really great page. TFS

You have a beautiful tree and the lighting without flash turned out wonderfully! I can relate to your comment "getting out of Auto mode" I've been playing around with my new camera in manual. You know i have been shooting in auto for so long I had forgotten all the cool tricks. I'ts been fun to experiment with the different settings.
