In memory of CAT

Ok, I know I'm posting LOs of past club contents, not sure if it's OK to do this here. Just didn't have time to post earlier.

Using this layout to try a new technique I saw - blending the photo into the background.

I've used Angie Brigg's His n Hers Collection - it's one of my favourites! Font is Arno Pro.

Journaling reads:

There you were, lost and alone. We took you in. No one responded to our posters. Michelle said you belonged to us and called you ‘Cat’. We got on really well together. Then you fell sick. We took you to the vet but he didn’t have good news for us. We miss you, little buddy! May you rest in peace.

Thanks for taking a peep!

I don't think there are rules about which club you can post with. :D Nice job on this page! You cat looks sooo much like one we had when I was a kid- one of the reasons you layout caught my eye in the gallery! I like how you used the brackets, and it is nice to know my parents weren't the only ones around with a cat named "Cat." We've tried to name our bird, but nothing sticks, so it is just birdie. ;) You did a great job blending that photo into the background. Looks great.

Very nice LO. The photo blended into the background is very nice. Isn't it amazing how these little guys just show up and work their way into your heart?

Ditto what everyone else has said about the blending..it has worked really well. What a lovely way to remember a special friend.

I'm so sorry about your pet, but this is a wonderful layout. I love the simplicity and the barest glimpse of the picture blended into the paper.

Your blending is great. I like the simplicity of the page; quite beautiful and uncluttered feel. Sorry for the less of your little buddy.

Beautiful Blending and I love the idea of the brackets. I hope you will find another feline someday that will be a part of your family like Cat was.
