Little Buckethead
My sister's birthday is next month and I wanted to make something special for her. Here is this collage of pictures of her through the years and a few of my memories of her.
Journaling reads: Erin,
I can remember you wanting to wear the butter bowl on your head. I had to tie it so it would stay, otherwise it would fall off and you would get MAD!!! You had such a quick temper and would bang your head on the floor if you didn’t get your way. As you got a little older, the temper started to settle. Your intelligence started to emerge and you always had some interesting tidbit to share, either you had learned at school or had read somewhere. You still love to learn and read and I have to steal the remote so I’m not stuck watching the History or Discovery channels 24-7. In high school, you became an athlete. You had such heart and determination to do the best always and that lead you to the state tennis tournament the twice and a tennis scholarship. I still see that heart and determination in everything you do, from your job at Wal-Mart, being an assistant tennis coach, to being in the Army Reserves. Little Buckethead you have grown up to such an amazing young lady and I am proud that you are my sister and friend.
Love always,
Erica
