When Ma died last year, I wanted to gather every little part of her up and keep it close to my heart forever, but I had no idea how. I'd seen Scrapbooking magazines next to the Cross Stitching ones I bought and thought why not just buy one to see?

We have so few photos of my Mum that I wanted to make the most out of them. Well I no longer buy any Cross Stitching mags! Instead I hoard the Scrapbooking ones, although I've only done two LOs of my Mum, one traditionally and one digitally so far - I am saving the best 'til later on!

I scrap because I want to write down all my thoughts and memories of Mum, I scrap because I want my son to know her and how much she adored him even though he was only three days away from his birthday when she died, I scrap because I want my son and any other children God may grant us to have something to remember their whole family and childhood by, I scrap because I cannot express myself through drawing nor painting, I scrap because of all this and more!
