Grace (Pratt) Stacker

I want to combine my love of scrapbooking with my love of genealogy research. Here's a page I did today about my great-great grandmother. As soon as I saw this frame, I knew it was perfect for this photo.

The journaling says:

Grace was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, on 4 June 1850. She was the oldest of Rev. John Wood Pratt and Mary Grace Crabb’s six children, and one of only two to live into adulthood. She married Col. Clay Stacker 11 Sept. 1872 and they had five children.

This layout is absolutely gorgeous! It has such a classic look to it. I love the colors and the frame. The journaling is great too.

You're right, Grace. The frame and everything you've used is indeed perfect for this photo. I love the strong red, which looks great with the photo and the elements. The boarder at the top and the repetition on the scalloped strip is very effective, too. This is a lovely and elegant layout!

The silver and the red are perfect for this picture and the silver decoration at the bottom of the frame makes it even better. What a wonderful picture and a great layout!
