One magic day
This was a wonderful day last year spent in the Clare Valley, the grand children used logs and seats, sticks and feathers in their imaginary flights of fancy which took them to other times, other places, from pirates to astronauts and back again. It was wonderful to watch and to join in when called upon.
The journaling reads:
This was a magical summer’s day spent in the Clare Valley, renowned for its fine wines, in South Australia. The children slew dragons, swam in crocodile infested waters, played magic flutes and paddled their canoe through the rapids - all in the local park
One of the techniques I used was to combine 3 different papers, after copying various parts of them and using differing levels of bevels to give them some depth. Once they were combined I used the zigzag filter to give the magic carpet some movement.
The papers I used were Dinny’s Cozy flowers and 2 of Durin Eberhart’s Character Papers as well as her golden style. Other embellishments and effects used Cheryl Barber’s clear glass & Amanda Sok’s iridescent glass, Jan Hick’s chipboard swirl and I also used Melissa Renfro’s wonderful Extinct Dino Border.
