Journaling:
When we decided to take the boat tour around Presque Isle, we didn’t figure it
would be any big deal to walk out to the boat dock from the main entrace to
the state park. After all,
Presque Isle isn’t that big.
WRONG! We got on the
longer of the two paths
that led out there, and
it was 6 miles of hot sun
and humidity! But we
made it--took the boat
tour, and figured there
would be an easier way
to get back to the
main park. NOPE.
We had to walk back,
this time on the right
path, which was 4 miles.
But a 10-mile hike is
good for you. RIGHT?
Definitely one of our
more memorable trips!
