Day 1

This is a moment I wanted to preserve. A picture of my pastor who well loved by everyone who meets him. He is a man of integrity. He and his wife are my friends and we have traveled together and done a lot of fun things together. So I know how he lives his life first hand. Unfortunately, I ran out of journaling room. I may make the font small to add a couple of more lines.

It's wonderful! The blues are so pretty and soothing and cheerful. The photo is terrific. His personality comes right out of the photo.

I never realized how lucky I was to have such a wonderul priest in my church at home until we started moving. You're layout has inspired me to write him a letter telling him how much I miss him. Thanks

Just looking at this photo makes me want to meet him. He looks like he would be equally comfortable consoling someone or cracking a joke. That is an admirable quality in a spiritual leader. I love the cheery colors in your layout. I hope that you print a copy of this for him!

A wonderful tribute to your pastor and friend. He looks just as you've described himl, the photo speaks volumes! I'd say you both are very lucky. It's a great layout too. Goes very well with your photograph.

About the journaling: Sometimes, when working with these 4 x 6 layouts, especially, and I have a lot to journal, I'll make a second layout using all the same elements, but without the photo. This gives me plenty of room to tell the "rest of the story." Mary Elizabeth suggested this method to me during another class. I may not always post my "journaling" layout here in the gallery, but I do include it in my album and everyone who looks goes through it like to have the extra journaling.

A wonderful tribute to a special person in your life.

The background paper goes so nicely with the photo.

Sarah's suggestion about the 2nd page is a good one-----but I think that you could also make your font a little small.

This is a lovely tribute. Your picture seems to have captured his personality and the colors are very 'friendly' somehow.

Sarah and Pat have given you some good suggestions for getting in the extra journalling that you had in mind. Depending on how much more you have to say, you might also try a narrower font or change the horizontal spacing between your letters. Working in the small space does make it more challenging to tell the story of some pictures and I think that you have done nicely with the description you have included.

It's wonderful that your Pastor is also your personal friend. I hope you will give him a copy of your LO. I'm sure it will mean a lot to him.
