Lyle & Bunny

These are my grandparents on their wedding day. They met at a bar in Eugene, OR while they were both attending the University of Oregon. My grandfather offered to walk her home and she accepted. So they walked up to the corner, across the street, and down the block to my grandmother's dorm - across the street from the bar. She hadn't told him she lived across the street! They loved to laugh. Notice my grandfather's tongue between his teeth! He passed away 4 years ago. As an adult, I've learned to appreciate in memories of him what I took for granted as a child.
