Landscape

Here is my layout for the landscape assignment. I have a beautiful golf course across the street which has given me opportunity to shoot some good shots. I have rainbows, snowstorms etc. I originally wanted to take pictures of the pale moon but was struck by the beauty of the bare trees. After fooling around with this layout here is what a ended up with. I'm going to experiment in black and white also.

Paper - Endearing you

Actions: Stacked Photos 1

Brads: Naturescape

I applied luminosity to the background paper

Styles: on title - Metals (can't remember which one but is SG)

Template: partially used Daily DO

Beautiful layout. A Golden Moment, indeed! Isn't is funny that what we intend to catch in a shot is often overshadowed by something else and we change our minds entirely? I'd say you made a wonderful decision to get these trees rather than a pale moon shot! They are magnificent. And your choice of background papers and your blending modes suit your stacked photos so very well. I'll have to remember to try the luminosity more.

I love the slant of the journaling. Something about that is very pleasing to my eye.

I'm learning so much for all of you in this class! I think it's wonderful how everyone is so generous with sharing their techniques!

What amazing light and color on your photo. Interesting to see the color combination that you have chosen for the background. It is not a combination that I would usually work with but it looks great.

Just curious -- did you get your moon pictures after all? :)

Yes, I did get the moon pictures and now I don't know what to do with them! lol I may combine one with a landscape one. Kind of cheating but they were taken the same day at the same spot. If I got the moon with the trees it was too small. If I got the moon large enough, no trees!

Aren't you glad you had your camera ready for this shot? The golden color is beautiful and unlikely to be repeated any time soon. Your background papers really play up the golden color. Nice job!
