Aw, how sweet of your daughter to provide the rest of the story for the 2nd page of your layout. Again, a good contrast between the casualness of the note and the formality of the background and vertical title. Very nicely put together!

What a super idea to combine that touching tribute on a page next to the picture itself. I like the use of the vertical title with the striped paper and the way you have placed the note.

Both layouts are wonderful! My husband didn't understand the reason for my tears when my dog died early in our relationship. Then we got our own dog and it didn't take long to realize they become family. Thank you
