I did the same LO with two different background papers. I am building an album of each of my children, starting with my youngest, Amy, and just doing a "portrait-type" LO and then I will have a facing page with some journaling (not yet completed). I am trying to decide which I like more...the one with the flowery background or the one using Brandy's "View" paper. I also used of my Bamboo tablet and did the coloration of the flowers and butterflies this way, which was really fun and allowed me to use my painting background and I love this tool now!

 

The photos from top are: Amy at 1 yr with myself and her brother Bernie; Amy at 5 yr; and, Christmas 2008 at 31. Doing this makes me realize how fast time really does fly and I miss my baby.

 

I am not sure if what I used will be in the details, but just in case, I used:

Both pages are lovely. I really like the frames you used on these. The flowers are so pretty, as is your daughter. Great job using your tablet to color the flowers! They look wonderful.

I really love this one, but I think it would be more effective if you used only one of the photos. I especially love that one at age 5. Enlarge that and use only that one for a second LO. With using the three photos, I think the other background works a tad bit better.

Personally for me, the background on this one is a bit busy. I loved how you colored the butterflies and the flowers. You have a beautiful daughter.
