Anna's Room (Russian Adoption pg 6)

Here is a layout of Anna's room at the orphanage. Hope you like it.

 

For this layout I wanted a bright background because her room is really plain (they weren't allowed to have any personal things to be seen) so I chose purple (hmmmm wonder why?) I found a flower to place on top of the background and lowered the opacity to blend it into the purple bacground so it wouldn't stand out quite so much. I also added some glitter swirls underneath the photos and since I didn't want them to be too big, instead of making them larger to fit, I just duplicated them and used them several times, rotating them as well.

This is so beautiful! The color purple is gorgeous and I love how you blended the photo into the background! I also love the glitter along the edges. The clustering is also beautiful and I love how you stacked the photos. Wonderful job on the journaling too...this is something she will treasure very much when she grows up! TFS!

I love the effect stacking photos has on a layout. this is so nice. It was great that they got a look at the room. It is rather austere but I see a vase of flowers on the table beside the bed. I am enjoying following this story as it unfolds.

Rosemary, this layout is so pretty. I love the flower on the background paper and the glitter effects. I too am loving Anna's journey!
