Ngaire’s “Mates “ inspired this layout. When I saw that beautiful layout featuring grandfather and granddaughter I immediately thought of some old photos of my granddaughter (at about 22 months) and her “Grumpy” taken at a local park.

Journaling:

 

We like to stroll along together.

I don’t want to hold your hand because I am way too independent for that but I love to have you by my side just to know that I have you near in case I might need you to carry a treasure I might find, like a leaf or feather...

...or something.There are vestiges of TCS_NatureTrails_Paper_Forestry.jpg and KSC_SS_Paper_AmberRomance_PaperSPEC.jpg in the layout but I wanted the lovely eucalypts to remain a strong point.

Chan I am thrilled that a LO of mine was an inspiration to you!! This is just lovely. I love how you have the trees going into the background and that journalling is just wonderful. Oh so true as well. TFS
