Eryn's Sock Monkey Quilt

I designed a baby quilt pattern for my daughter Eryn to piece as a shower gift for a friend this last summer. She loved the sock monkey fabric and even ended up making a real sock monkey to go with the quilt when the baby arrived last October. We had a good time working on the quilt together ... treasured memories that make me smile.

I love the sparklies too. What a fantastic photo, with the light behind her hair and her intensely working at the sewing machine! I like the little bits of sock monkey in the corner. What a great gift idea and fun memory to scrap! TFS! ;)
